This home has unbelievable views of the city (from top of the hill!!!), sunset and Catalina Foothills Mountain range. It’s on cul-de-sac and is very private, with a few high-end neighbors. The new construction on the same block is currently for sale for over 2 million dollars. Next door house was sold in 2006 for $1,466,000; and similar sales (except for one foreclosure) were recorded for only a few more homes sold on this street in the last few years.
This home is custom, however, and its layout may work either perfect, or doesn’t work at all. It has almost 3,000 sq.ft. on the main floor and over 1,000 sq.ft. in the downstairs suite/office/guest quarters. The main level has 2 bedrooms /2 bathrooms (only) and the library (in addition to foyer, living area, kitchen, breakfast area, dining room, laundry and garage). Master bedroom /bathroom are extremely spacious and the flow of the house feels great if the number of bedrooms work for you. The lower level has kitchenette and bar (granite counters, tiles and built-in cherry wood cabinets), living area, bedroom with built-in cherry wood Murphy bed and office furniture, bathroom and a few walk-in closets.
Both levels have huge 68 sq.ft. balconies and the view. The lower level is accessible by elevator inside the house or staircase outside (no interior steps). Pool/ spa is located on the lower level and is a “spool” – a large spa with 2 jets that create a strong current to swim against. This area is very private.
The gated flagstone courtyard with a fountain is also very private and quite away from the street/cul-de-sac.
